It all started in 1964, when Nat Dubman began Carol House Furniture. Why Carol House? Nat had started off selling for Carol Clothing and Appliances out of the trunk of his car. He enjoyed working with his customers so much, that it only seemed natural to start his own business selling home furnishings called Carol House Furniture.
What began as a small family venture has grown into one of the most trusted furniture destinations in the St. Louis metro area. Now in its third generation of family ownership, Carol House continues the tradition of providing exceptional quality, personalized service, and unbeatable value that Nat established over 60 years ago.
Today, Amy and Brook Dubman carry on their family's legacy with the same passion and dedication. Together, they've expanded the business to include two showrooms in Valley Park and Maryland Heights, while staying true to the core values that have made Carol House a household name—treating every customer like family and delivering furniture that transforms houses into homes.

At Carol House, some of our most 'cutting edge' furniture designs are made from reclaimed solid wood and even reclaimed metals. We primarily purchase from manufacturers that 'farm' the wood instead of removing forests.
Since '09, CHF has been an AmerenUE Pure Power Partner. We've voluntarily paid extra on our electric bill for the production of wind power.
Carol House recycles all furniture packaging including cardboard, plastic, Styrofoam, and wood pallets. Our employees also recycle paper, plastic, aluminum, glass, and plastic bags from offices & break rooms.
At Carol House, we want to contribute to bigger things while doing what we love. We are proud to donate a portion of every sale to a list of worthy charitable causes as listed on our Community Outreach page.
